There is also another aspect of the Seven Mile Beach area, which is locally referred to the West Bay Road corridor that encompasses numerous shopping centers, five star amenities and a high percentage of the upper income private residence housing on Grand Cayman.

 

One amenity that cannot be missed is The Camana Bay Village or as others would refer to as “the Town” of Grand Cayman can proudly call itself one of the finest encompassing attractions in the Cayman Islands. It supplies residents and visitors alike with numerous restaurants, bars, shops, splash pools, interactive fountain, 75 foot observation tower, general service provider outlets, banks, professional offices, Class A lease space, rental apartments, schools and the Islands only 6 screen Cinema. An essential and requisite destination at least once while on Grand Cayman!

 

Stepping off Seven Mile Beach to look for a private residence one does not have to travel far to have some of the best living accommodations that Grand Cayman have to offer. If a top notch water front home and / or a canal front residence is desired then the premiere communities of (average home lot around US$750K, average residence circa US$3.3million), Vista Del Mar (average home lot around US$695K, average residence circa US$4.0million+) – the Villa Vista Residence at US$3.295 is a must see (!). The Yacht Club (average home lot around US$650K, average residence circa US$2.8million+) however homes are very limited in all the aforementioned neighborhoods, so do call the office to find out more on availability at the soonest – the signature residence of The Dock House is truly one of a kind and the BEST on offer in the area. A new planned pre-construction neighborhood of the Stone Island in the Yacht Club has just recently come on the market with 42 townhomes with approximately 4200 sqft of living space and additional amenities such as gated entrance, communal pool and club house to name a few additionals. A record breaking private home sale in Vista Del Mar was enjoyed earlier this year with a sale at US$7,950,000.00. Increasing the per square footage market price in the immediate area. Giving further authority that the Cayman real estate market is strong and healthy.

 

North Sound Golf Club is in the middle of the West Bay Beach district. Crystal Harbour enjoys canal front, ocean front and golf view front land parcels and homes that range from US$450K to over US$5million+. The Crystal Harbour community (a gated community) has seen tremendous growth in development over the last couple of years.
 


 

Continuing to stay in the West Bay BEACH district while reviewing local accommodation attention has to be given to the Governors Harbour area where a fabulous condominium can be purchased in the price range of US$800K (canal front – less for inland condo), land is currently scarce for canal front property in this neighborhood while private residences are as well, yet can be obtained with the right researched in and around the US$2million +/-. The gated community of Canal Point enjoys a great location with home prices, in the US$2.3million range.

 

Condos in the surrounding areas of the current points of interest start around US$350K and up.

 

Snug Harbour homes can be purchased starting at around US$850K while condos and homes in the Britannia neighborhood next door to Camana Bay prices start at US$550K and up to US$9million+.
